Welcome to our URBAN DOG SKILLS program: DOT DOGS exclusive socialisation and training program incorporated into a group walk - to build and enjoy all of the skills that you and your dog need to succeed in our urban world!
DOT DOGS is passionate about helping all of us to be the best pet parents that we can be and for our dogs to be happy and positive social role models in our community. Our Urban Dog Skills program is full of fun training activities for you and your dogs. Our real life approach to dog training is a great way to create a supportive community of responsible pet ownership, happy people and happy dogs!
Our activities include:
PUPPY PLAY DATES - Thursday & Friday 12pm, Saturday 9am: puppy specific play and learning program for pups under 16 weeks
BIG LEGS - Saturday 10am, for large breeds and confident pups
LITTLE LEGS - Saturday 11am, for small breeds and pups under 10kg
Loose Leash Walking
Recall training and games
Socialisation and understanding play manners
Making new fur friends
Roadside rules for you and your dog
Cafe Calm - settle behaviours in our urban spaces
Obedience skills: Sit, Stand, Stay, Drop
Pooch Problem Solving Skills for People - addressing challenge behaviours
Touch tolerance and handling confidence
Games and activities to channel your dog's energy: problem solving, scenting, looking and listening
Maximum of 5 dogs per class
COVIDSafe Plan - QR code check in
45 minutes per class

Puppy Play Dates - JULY 1, 2 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23 24, 29, 30, 31
Little Legs - JULY 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
Big Legs - JULY 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

Parking is available on Clarendon Street.
Meet at the opposite end to the children's playground (Clarendon Street)
Lots of soft and yummy treats (at least one cupful) in a treat bag to free your hands up for training
A flat collar and regular leash for your dog. Harnesses also welcome.
A toy for your dog to play with eg. rope toy, ball
Water and water bowl for your dog
